Updates for June 2017

June: Easter Sunday is April 16, 2017, so in 2017 most Easter egg hunts will be held on Saturday April 8, 2017 and some on Saturday April 15, 2017. ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute changes due to weather or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year.  Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, facebook pages and calendars.   • Chehalis-Centralia Easter Train - Easter Trains
    Chehalis-Centralia Railroad & Museum, 1101 SW Sylvenus St, Chehalis, WA 98532. Phone: 360.748.9593. Email: info@steamtrainride.com. Event date and time: the Saturday right before Easter from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, Trains leave at 11 AM, 1, AND 3 PM. DURATION: ~30 MINUTES. We will be operating our Easter Train with our newly overhauled 1916 Baldwin locomotive.The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad plans to operate an annual old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt. Climb aboard for a leisurely Saturday train ride while the “Easter Bunny” and “Chicken Little” hide the eggs. Upon the return of the train, children (12 years and under) will go into the “egg field” to gather candy filled Easter Eggs! Many eggs will have prize tickets inside to be redeemed in the depot. Activities will vary for age groups 3 and under, 4 through 7, and 8 through 12. No reservations are required.
